It’s the last day before the final stretch of the game jam — heading into the weekend! Today I worked on the player character’s equipment, feeling like in that meme about Jehovah’s Witnesses: “What do we do now? — I don’t know, we’ve never gotten this far” 😁 I ended up revamping combat as well, and just pushed a massive 700-line commit, though there are still gaps like no magical damage yet and the player character’s lack of ranged attacks. And I didn’t have time to update enemies with A* pathfinding, either. Hopefully, tomorrow morning I can wrap up all the final details and start making it ready for release.
